Isaiah Alexander is a 25-year-old biracial poet hailing from Houston, Texas. A proud queer man and a first-generation college graduate from Texas State University, Isaiah holds a B.S. in Mass Communications and a minor in English. His university days were filled with music journalism at KTSW, the campus radio station, but poetry has always been his true calling. Though new to formal publication, Isaiah holds a dedicated audience on Instagram (@theebadwriter) with his raw, emotionally-charged poetry. His work delves into themes like heartbreak, depression, grief, trauma, love, and queer identity. Through rhyme and rhythm, he crafts pieces that are as intimate as they are accessible, blending vulnerability with lyrical mastery. As a brother to a transgender sister, Isaiah passionately advocates for trans rights and champions inclusive storytelling. His personal journey and diverse experiences breathe life into his creative voice, boldly addressing emotions often left unspoken.
